Pre Treatment
Initial Situation
Prominent thyroid secondary to diffuse Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Right side is considerably larger than her left side. Patient very concerned about outward appearance but also the hard nature of her gland.
Methods
Although she has no prominent single nodule, the thyroid gland is considerably enlarged secondary to this prolonged inflammatory process. Benign pathology confirmed. Her right thyroid lobe measures 40 ml.
One Month Post
After a benign pathology is confirmed, she underwent successful treatment with non-thermal nsPFA CellFx NanoPulse ablation (nsPFA) under ultrasound guidance with 74 cycles of energy.
