Radiofrequency Ablation of thyroid nodules saves the patient and the entire healthcare system a considerable amount of money.
As of January, 2025, two new CPT codes for percutaneous Radiofrequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules have been adopted. The assignment of specific CPT® codes represents acceptance of thyroid RFA as a procedural payment for the providing physician. CellFX nsPFA has not yet been assigned a recognized CPT code.
