I was very impressed with Dr. Harding. I had a recent partial thyroidectomy. This was the easiest surgery I've every had, and I've had more than 5 major surgeries. Dr Harding is very professional and answered all questions. Surgery was on time and I was home about 5 hrs later. I had very little pain and it was controlled with a couple Tylenol. It's been a couple weeks since surgery and I can hardly see a scar. I had researched a lot before selecting Dr. Harding and was not disappointed.

Extraordinary Dr Harding, all his staff too!!!!! I have surgery and everything goes perfect.

I was referred to Dr. Harding by my endocrinologist for surgery. My intake visit was very thorough and now am awaiting surgery.

I've had two surgeries with Dr Harding and both times I've gotten the best care possible. He explained everything to me in detail and made sure I understood. I would definetly recommend him to people.I do feel that the front office needs to have a privacy glass so that the patients can not hear what the receptionist are saying. I also like to say Dr Harding's receptionist Vera is great and I appreciated all her help my first time in the office.

A few months ago after a biopsy on a Thyroid nodule, I was told by a neck surgeon that it needed to be removed asap. I was uncomfortable about this diagnosis and the way it was explained to me that I decided to do a little research and see what information I could find on my own. That is when I came across Dr Harding on You Tube. I was so impressed with him that I made an appt and a few weeks later I drove from So CA to Phoenix, AZ to see him. I knew my insurance would not cover me in AZ but after having seen him on You Tube I knew he was the Dr I needed to see. I saw him yesterday 8/1, and it was the most awesome and informative meeting I have ever had with a Dr. I am 79 and I have known many Drs but Dr Harding is beyond compare. He performed another biopsy and totally and humbly explained my situation in a way that only a great Dr could. I will have to wait a few weeks for the biopsy report, but whatever the out come, I left there totally relaxed, confident and knowing that I had just seen a great Dr. I don't know about you all, but I never walked out of a Drs office and felt that way.

Excellent surgeon! Would recommend Dr. Harding to friends and family. Does excellent work and is a very nice person to talk with. Can not recommend him more highly. Takes the time to explain everything to you and gives you copies of the recorded surgery and pathology results.

Dr. Harding is an excellent surgeon! He performed a total Thyroidectomy. I had a large goiter with many nodules. Dr. Harding removed it through an inch long incision that is unnoticeable with minimal scaring and it's only been 1 month. He explained the whole procedure and made me feel very secure in his abilities as an individual and surgeon. Dr. Harding and his entire team provided outstanding care to my mom during her thyroid cancer treatment. Her case was advanced and quite complicated. I'm thankful he was the surgeon who took care of her case. He performed her full thyroidectomy and when she developed a rare complication through no fault of his own. He took care of it that same night. He visited her every single day while she was in the hospital, including weekends, which meant so much to us.

It wasn't just Dr. Harding who stood out his entire office was exceptional. Nurse Deirdre and the rest of the staff truly knew who my mom was and made her feel like more than just another patient. Their attentiveness and compassion were clear in every interaction. We felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for every step of the way.

We are so grateful for the expertise and humanity of this team. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Harding performed my total thyroidectomy and did amazing ! From office visits to the Operating room and aftercare him and his staff have been there the entire way guiding me and answering any questions or concerns I had along the way. I am so happy with my surgery outcome and my incision is healing perfectly! He hid it perfectly in the crease of my neck! 10/10 recommend him and his wonderful team !

Richard Harding, is a fine Surgeon, knowledgeable concise to the point delivers it in his own words. You can understand, with a reasonable professional bedside manner, he's busy because he has a reputation of being a healer, I would recommend him for any of your surgeries that he specializes in. He works out of a 1930's old renovated home in the downtown Phoenix district. It's very comfortable and the staff is very professional. What's nice about his business is I didn't feel like I was being treated like a 21st-century medical profession where everything is so sterile and by the book and insurance , insurance. It was kind of like when I used to visit the doctor when I was a kid, very friendly staff - very friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr Harding performed my grandfather's thyroidectomy. Working at a hospital makes me a tough critic, and especially skeptical of physicians. That being said, Dr. Harding exceeded my family's and my own expectations. He is kind, thorough, and his bedside manner is superb. He also went out of his way to make sure I could stay by my grandfather's side after his procedure, as the ol' man has dementia. All things considered, we had an excellent experience with Dr. Harding and his care team at St. Joe's hospital.

Dr. Harding and his staff were friendly, professional, and informative. They are one of the few providers in the US that provide RFA for thyroid nodules. I opted for the RFA procedure for a large nodule rather than thyroid removal. The staff was great and the procedure was a breeze and fairly quick. I highly recommend Dr. Harding.

He performed a Total Thyroidectomy on me after I had been dealing with a complex form of Graves Disease/Hyperthyroidism for many years. Dr. Harding is a fantastic surgeon. I just had surgery one week ago on the 13th. He explained everything before the surgery & worked with my cardiologist since I am on blood thinners so there would be no complications with bleeding. Don’t get me wrong I was scared of surgery but I knew I could not keep being so sick. Dr. Harding was with me so I felt very reassured. Everything turned out great! I love the girls in his office. After messing around with some doctors back in Iowa for three months trying to identify which of my parathyroids was not functioning properly, I decided to make the move to Arizona and meet with Dr. Harding. I had researched surgeons out here very thoroughly and Dr. Harding was one of the top three rated surgeons in the area. Upon my first visit, he was able to identify which parathyroid was functioning improperly and we scheduled surgery. The surgery went extremely well and he actually remove two of my parathyroids and a small tumor. I must say I have not felt better in a long time. I have 100% confidence and Dr. Harding’s ability and would highly recommend him if you are needing surgery.

Dr. Harding performed my total thyroidectomy and Cholecystectomy in 2024. I was very pleased with both. Him and his staff are very professional and compassionate. One of my surgeries was at the hospital and the other was at the surgery center, the staff at both places were very friendly. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Harding performed surgery on me to remove a parathyroid gland about a year ago. That was my first surgery so I was quite nervous. However, Dr. Harding's bedside manner put me right at ease. Dr.Harding is a skilled ENT surgeon. He was referred to me by my endocrinologist when I had to have total thyroidectomy 2 years ago which was uneventful. Dr Harding performed hernia surgery and did an excellent job. He also detected an enlarged lymph node and immediately performed a biopsy. His concern and attention was crucial in detection of my lymphoma.

First, let me say that Dr. Harding and his office staff fully deserve the five star rating I've given. For my first consultation, the doctor scheduled ample time to describe, in detail, what needed to be done and how the surgery would be. He answered every question and patiently went into as much detail as needed to ensure I was fully informed.

When the surgery had unexpected complications, the doctor took the extra time needed to address them, and the operation was a huge success.

Loved Dr. Harding. He performed my Parathyroid surgery two weeks ago and I feel great.

I had my left thyroidectomy removed and part of the right thyroid. The surgery lasted one and half hour. I was left overnight for observance. Surgery went well. No pain on my neck. Just, your throat hurts. Went to see Dr. Harding a week later and he indicated the wound is healing. It only was kept covered for two days. I feel great as now I can sleep better. The thyroid they removed was the size of an orange. I wish I had done surgery long time ago. Please, you will feel the care you as soon as you enter his office in Phoenix, Az.

Dr. Harding is a very caring and thoughtful doctor. He always has a nice smile on his face and carries a good energy. He was willing to work with me the patient in order to figure out a “game plan”. Amazingly qualified! Dr. Harding was the answer to our prayers. My sister had been suffering with Cushing Disease and he quickly had her in surgery and she woke up so improved. Highly recommend him!

At first, I was really scared of this surgery, but Doctor Richard Harding is an amazing surgeon from Explaining the whole process and his patients he is an amazing doctor and I really recommend him. And all the staff that work with him are really sweet too Thank you so much again

I was amazed that DR Harding took the time and actually treated me. I went in for an initial consult and I got so much more. I wanted to cry because he was going to give me answers as I’ve been going from Dr to Dr for the issue. I would send anyone I know to him if they needed his expertise. So grateful for him and his nurse was very supportive and had me laughing so I wasn’t as anxious. Loved the nurse - since I was alone, she was my support.

Dr. Harding removed a parathyroid almost two years ago. I have two years worth of blood testing to know all is still good after surgery. The area on my neck looked bad for a little while (month maybe), but it didn't take much time before I couldn't even see it. It is amazing that no one would know I had any surgery and I have a very long neck, so it would show. There was an issue with billing at the hospital, but not really an office issue and was resolved. Because the surgery was so great and would get even more than 5 stars I won't take down any stars for anything.

Dr. Harding removed my gallbladder on Christmas Eve! I was in so much pain. After the surgery I felt a lot better and was able to go home with little pain!! Thank you Dr. Harding!!!

Dr Harding is a great physician and surgeon, he takes time to listen and answer all your questions and also will do his own ultrasound in his office to ensure no mistakes are done by technicians. Well known and respected in his field ! Great bed side manner!

Dr. Richard Harding is the most incredible surgeon ever! I had to have my thyroid removed and his skill made surgery a breeze! I had absolutely no pain from the surgery! I never had to take any pain medication at all! My scar is very small and in the crease in my lower neck so you can't even tell I've had surgery! He's very knowledgeable and he's very pleasant! I highy recommend this wonderful surgeon!!!
